Biodynamic agriculture and low sulphite contents: a double warranty for consumers

Thanks to its controlled agricultural activities, Tenuta del Melo, which respects the fruit’s quality vital cycles, provides its consumers with wines of extremely low sulphite level. The Gavi contains less than a third of that allowed by the legislations, a quantity which also remains much lower with respect to the Demeter disciplinary.

Demeter’s value

Biodynamic is an ethical, ecological approach to agriculture. It originates from the spiritual insights of Rudolph Steiner‘s anthroposophy, based on the principle that all organism are connected to form a system of life processes. In Italy, only approximately 50 farms have this certification: Tenuta del Melo is one of them.
